Dr. Brianna Farber

A lifelong animal lover, Dr. Brianna Farber has made veterinary health her life’s mission. After earning her Associate and Bachelor of Science degrees with a minor in Health Leadership and Management at Becker College in Wooster, MA, she attended The Ohio State University's College of Veterinary Medicine where she was awarded her Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine.

She began her professional career as an Emergency Veterinarian in the Cleveland metropolitan area, before working as a General Practitioner in northeastern Ohio. More recently she was Associate Veterinarian at Camboro Veterinary Hospital, before joining The Animal Clinic.

With a special interest in diagnostic imaging and emergency medicine, Dr. Farber’s most recent publication is entitled, "Imaging Diagnosis: Disseminated Hemangiosarcoma in a Welsh Pony" appeared in the journal of Veterinary Radiology and Ultrasound (May 2024). She is currently in the process of acquiring a certificate with Penn Foster's Veterinary Practice Management program.

Dr. Farber is committed to the future of the veterinary industry and believes in empowering technicians to be essential, knowledgeable partners in animal care. She seeks to do more than just help students pass exams – she wants to shape future professionals who demonstrate compassion, critical thinking, and professionalism.

Outside of work, she loves spending time with her family, which includes her husband, Dr. Austin Overberger, who is also a small animal general practitioner, their son Graham, and their three cats, Clyde, Millie and Elle and dog, Cece.

Dr. John Jaekle

Dr. John Jaekle is a veterinarian with a diverse background spanning small animal medicine, emergency care, and large animal practice. He earned his VMD from the University of Pennsylvania and brings a broad clinical perspective to patient care.

In addition to his clinical experience, Dr. Jaekle has held leadership roles in veterinary and biopharmaceutical organizations, where he focused on advancing care delivery and building high-performing teams. At The Animal Clinic, he is committed to providing practical, high-quality medicine while supporting the development of future veterinary professionals through hands-on training and mentorship.
